Custom made slipcovers have been described as "fancy envelopes" for furniture. Our goal is to provide you with a professionally tailored slipcover that will completely transform your existing décor. Your new slip will be easy to take on and off and when becomes soiled, merely remove it, depending on your fabric choice, simply send it to the cleaners or throw it in the wash.
After a consultation to determine what style and fabric you like we will pin-fit a muslin pattern on your furniture. Paying close attention to detail, this pin-fitting takes about two hours. We then take the pattern back to our workroom to construct the cover. Once your cover is completed we return to your home for what we call a 'dress rehearsal'. If there are any adjustments that need to be made we will do them and proceed to fully dress your furniture piece in its new slipcover.

What you do
The first thing you need to determine is whether or not your furniture is suitable for a slipcover. The ideal candidate is any piece of furniture that is in resonable good shape, and does not have attached cushions on the backs or arms. A well made piece of furniture will not only last for many generations to come, it will also be the perfect choice for a slipcover!
The next step is to pick the right fabric. Cotton prints, jacquards and solids in medium weights are all appropriate because they very durable and comfortable. If a fabric is too heavy then it will not lay properly on the furniture resulting in a dissatisfactory look. Denims and medium weight 100% cotton fabrics work great as slipcovers.
